I’m a neuroscientist, keynote speaker, and award-winning author. I work with executives of Fortune 500 companies around the globe to transform how they think, innovate, and navigate change.
I always wanted to understand how the brain works and why people behave the way they do. That’s why I chose to become a neuroscientist. But when I worked in management consulting, straight out of the laboratory, I was surprised about the way in which people worked. It wasn’t in line with how the brain works best. At all.
I set out to study the neuroscientific literature. How can we work better? What are the principles that lead to highest performance, better learning, and improved collaboration? And how can we make them really applicable for busy executives? Ever since then, I have worked with Fortune 500 companies around the globe in creating brain-friendly ways of working. This also led me to writing my award-winning book »The Leading Brain« which was published with Random House and translated internationally.
